A Greener way to Mine!
We at Sea Turtle Mining and Trading Company believe that crypto mining can be ecologically friendly. Our goal is to operate a green mining operation. We base this on two key principles. We are sourcing electricity to power the miners from green suppliers, like wind and hydro. We are also using highly efficient miners delivering the lowest j/h ratios. So what do we do with the profits? Continue to seek out more eco-friendly hosting options, expanding our t/h footprint and support organizations who directly help wildlife rescue (especially sea turtles!).
We want everyone to meet Digi, our mining sea turtle. She is hard at work guiding us, helping us stay focused and reminding us of why we are doing this. And a big bonus is that she is super cute!

Just having fun!
Ramona suggested we look into crypto mining as something to learn together so Mercedes and I decided to make a project out of it. Mainly to have fun, learn about the world of crypto and other basics of money and business and hopefully see a bit of profit for the turtles. Some lessons are harder to learn, but its the journey together that matters most!
What started as a family project grew legs and Sea Turtle Mining and Trading Company was born. We are fully operational supporting a variety of algorithms backed by high efficiency equipment, renewable energy while continue to explore ways to make crypto mining more environmentally sustainable.
Crypto Mining Operations
The world of crypto mining continues to show us all new aspects from tracking pool payouts to having patience during load shedding events. We continue to have fun while learning about how everything works. From wallets to hash rates, its a whole new vocabulary.
Our goal is to deliver highly energy efficient, sustainable hashing power. We are focused on selecting highly efficient ASIC miners and hosting them with companies who leverage renewable sources in order to build further support for the economics and development of renewable energy.

Trading
We are enjoying watching our coins go up, and less so when they go the other direction. A lot has happened of late to cause the crypto market significant volitility. We are not day traders, but do some currency management to support risk management and liquidity to fund operations.
There are some mining supplies that are harder to find, and we may buy some extra when we find them. If we find ourselves with too much, we may start selling some but right now we are just focused on crypto mining.
